Dr. Charles Massie

Doctor

Charles is a resident doctor at the Sacré Coeur Hospital in Montreal. He joined the Pro Evolution Coaching team because he sees sport as the key to personal and professional success for young people.
After practicing several sports in his childhood including tennis and soccer, he fell in love with martial arts and karate. He will pass his black belt at the age of 16 and becomes "sempai" (or assistant professor) at 18 years. "For me, Karate is the perfect balance of strength and finesse. Sport have allowed him to develop discipline and surpassing himself. And it was by being disciplined and giving his 110%, both on the tatami mat and in the classroom, that Charles achieved his childhood dream of becoming a doctor.

"I want to teach young people the importance of sport in self-development. Sport gives you better physical and mental health and most people know it. What I want to teach them is how sport can help them achieve their other personal and professional goals."

During his medical career, Charles organized a squash tournament to fund blindness research and led an intramural soccer team to promote physical activity with his fellow doctors. Today, Charles is a proud member of Pro Evolution Coaching team.
